IBM DataStage Engineer

Salary: £123,500 - 136,500 per year

Requirements:

• We require strong IBM DataStage ETL development, support and maintenance experience.
• We require strong SQL development skills.
• We require experience with Azure Data Factory.
• We require experience working on large-scale data migration projects.
• We would particularly welcome experience with Netezza, as the programme is migrating data from an existing Netezza data warehouse.
• We would also value exposure to Cognos environments or integration with Cognos reporting layers.

• We need someone to work across a complex data landscape.
• We need someone to support a significant data migration programme.
• We need someone to play a key role in the extraction, transformation and migration of data from a large-scale data warehouse environment.

We are supporting a major data transformation programme focused on migrating and modernising enterprise data platforms. This is a hands-on engineering role based in Birmingham with on-site presence once or twice a week. The engagement is outside IR35, runs for an initial 6 months, and offers the opportunity to work on a significant enterprise data migration initiative.
