FLM Engineer

Salary: £24,500 - 42,000 per year

Requirements:

• We need you to be competent in using power tools, ladders, and hand tools.
• We need strong IT skills, including Microsoft products, basic DOS commands, and VT software.
• We need you to be able to operate and understand new equipment.
• We need analytical skills to assist with fault resolution.
• We need a solid understanding of telecoms systems and components.
• We need an excellent work ethic, a vibrant personality, and adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
• We need strong verbal, written, and organisational skills.
• We need you to be conscientious and flexible, with the ability to forecast demand and respond promptly to tasks.

Responsibilities:

• We support telecom projects across the South East, with some travel required.
• We carry out first line maintenance, installation, and commissioning of small works on a 1-in-7 shift rota covering 24/7/365.
• We maintain and troubleshoot fixed and mobile telecom equipment.
• We manage tickets to SLA standards and update documentation.
• We perform risk assessments.
• We complete street cabinet work, preventative maintenance, site surveys, and reporting.
• We respond to NOC requests and communicate professionally.
• We assist in team training.
• We provide full training to support all technical duties.
