EPOS Engineer

Salary: £28,000 - 28,000 per year

Requirements:

• Proven experience in electronic fault finding and component-level repairs.
• Experience repairing monitors, PCs, printers, tills, or similar electronic equipment.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and general IT hardware.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Desirable: Experience with EPOS equipment.
• Desirable: Knowledge of networking fundamentals.
• Desirable: Relevant electronics or IT qualifications.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose faults and repair electronic equipment to component level.
• Repair and test a variety of devices including monitors, PCs and computer hardware, small printers, and EPOS systems and tills.
• Conduct fault finding using appropriate testing equipment.
• Replace faulty components and complete repairs to a high standard.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot operating systems.
• Maintain accurate repair records and documentation.
• Ensure all repairs meet quality and safety standards.
• Support colleagues and customers with technical queries where required.
