Entry-Level Configurator Developer

Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of C#.
• Basic understanding of LINQ.
• Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Understanding of programming fundamentals, including variables, loops, conditional statements, methods and classes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.
• A genuine desire to learn and develop technical skills.
• Degree, HNC/HND, apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Software Development or a related discipline.
• Commercial programming experience is desirable but not essential.
• Recent graduates and junior developers are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and maintenance of configurators.
• Modify existing configurator logic to meet business requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve configurator issues.
• Write and maintain C# code.
• Develop and maintain LINQ queries.
• Test configurators before deployment.
• Support senior developers with new functionality and enhancements.
• Document development work and follow coding standards.

We are a leading global manufacturer in the fire safety industry, and we are seeking an Entry-Level Configurator Developer to join our growing IT team in Dartford, Kent. This is a temp-to-perm role with hours of Monday to Thursday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, and Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm. We offer full training on our ERP system, making this an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or junior developer to build a career in ERP development and manufacturing software.
