Embedded Systems Engineer

Salary: £75,000 - 75,000 per year

Requirements:

• Electronic design experience
• Strong embedded Linux experience
• Experience developing on edge or embedded platforms such as NVIDIA Jetson or similar
• Software development skills in Python and/or C/C++
• Ability to read schematics and work closely with hardware
• Comfortable owning system-level technical decisions
• Experience integrating cameras or video-based systems is desirable
• Experience with NVIDIA Jetson in production environments is desirable
• Experience with GStreamer, V4L2, or FFmpeg is desirable
• Experience with Yocto or Buildroot is desirable
• Experience with OTA update frameworks is desirable
• Experience with Docker on embedded devices is desirable

Responsibilities:

• Take technical ownership of a real-world AI-driven edge computing platform built around camera-based systems and NVIDIA Jetson hardware
• Lead the development of embedded Linux and edge AI systems
• Work across software, electronics, and hardware integration
• Build robust, deployable products rather than proof-of-concept work
• Make technical decisions across performance, reliability, and delivery
