Embedded Systems Engineer
Job Description
Salary: £75,000 - 75,000 per year
Requirements:- Electronic design experience
- Strong embedded Linux experience
- Experience developing on edge or embedded platforms such as NVIDIA Jetson or similar
- Software development skills in Python and/or C/C++
- Ability to read schematics and work closely with hardware
- Comfortable owning system-level technical decisions
- Experience integrating cameras or video-based systems is desirable
- Experience with NVIDIA Jetson in production environments is desirable
- Experience with GStreamer, V4L2, or FFmpeg is desirable
- Experience with Yocto or Buildroot is desirable
- Experience with OTA update frameworks is desirable
- Experience with Docker on embedded devices is desirable
- Take technical ownership of a real-world AI-driven edge computing platform built around camera-based systems and NVIDIA Jetson hardware
- Lead the development of embedded Linux and edge AI systems
- Work across software, electronics, and hardware integration
- Build robust, deployable products rather than proof-of-concept work
- Make technical decisions across performance, reliability, and delivery
