Developer / Senior Developer – Mainframe

Salary: £55,000 - 55,000 per year

Requirements:

• Proven experience working in a mainframe environment
• Solid commercial experience with COBOL/CICS, ADABAS, NATURAL, DB2 and SQL, and JCL
• Desirable: experience with z/OS Connect, WebSphere MQ, SOAP/REST APIs, XML, JSON, .NET, Microsoft Azure DevOps/TFS, and Endevor (Software Change Manager)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and support our gift card systems, and help maintain and support our other mainframe applications
• Contribute across all aspects of the development lifecycle
• Provide analysis and programming skills in core languages
• Review and support the gathering of user requirements
• Produce sustainable and efficient solutions using Agile methodologies
• Design, code, maintain, and support business-critical systems used 24/7, 365 days a year
• Develop in batch and online environments, following relevant standards
• Work closely with our user community and provide technical and non-technical advice
