Salary: £43,000 - 83,000 per year

• Be UK-based
• Have continuously resided in the UK for a minimum of five years
• Be eligible to obtain NPPV3 and SC clearance
• Highly desirable: Medallion Architecture experience

• Define and deliver our enterprise data architecture strategy
• Design and implement scalable cloud-based data architectures
• Lead our data modelling, integration and governance initiatives
• Establish our architecture standards and best practices
• Support Microsoft Fabric adoption and development
• Design our data flows, storage models and integration frameworks
• Promote our data quality, governance and security standards
• Engage with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Support major transformation, migration and modernisation programmes

We are supporting a secure public sector organisation in the East Midlands in the search for an experienced Data Architect for a contract running until 31 March 2027. This is a senior leadership role focused on shaping and delivering enterprise-wide data architecture within a modern cloud-based environment. The role is hybrid, with attendance in Lincolnshire typically expected around one day per week, though flexibility is available depending on business needs. The position is inside IR35, with a negotiable rate dependent on experience. Due to the nature of the environment, candidates must be UK-based, have continuously resided in the UK for at least five years, and be eligible to obtain NPPV3 and SC clearance; existing police vetting or clearances would be highly advantageous.
