Customer Technical Support
Job Description
Salary: £27,000 - 27,000 per year
Requirements:- We are looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar customer-facing role.
- You should have a keen interest in technology, especially how internet-connected devices work.
- You should communicate confidently and clearly, both verbally and in writing.
- You should be motivated, enthusiastic, and eager to learn.
- You should thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- You should have competent computer skills, ideally with CRM experience.
- You should be confident using IT systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- You should have a desire to learn, grow, and take on new challenges.
- An understanding of heating systems would be advantageous, but is not essential.
- GCSE or equivalent is preferred.
- You should be able to reliably commute to our Wimborne location or plan to relocate before starting.
- You must have the right to work in the United Kingdom.
- We answer inbound telephone calls and support clients and installers.
- We assist the Sales team with booking and following up sales consultations.
- We respond to emails, texts, and other customer communications.
- We follow up with customers to ensure issues are resolved and service expectations are exceeded.
- We process and monitor customer returns and repairs.
- We log and track customer support requests, maintaining accurate records.
- We support production, dispatch, and other ad hoc duties when required.
- We test and box smart thermostats for stock.
- We log and track manufacturing faults.
- We assist other departments as needed as part of a small, close-knit team.

We design, manufacture, and supply smart thermostats to landlords across the UK, specialising in HMOs, village halls, holiday lets, and caravan parks. This is a varied, hands-on role in a supportive and friendly small team where no two days are the same.
