• Strong experience developing Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions using UiPath.
• Hands-on experience with UiPath Orchestrator, deployment and bot management.
• Solid development experience in C# and .NET technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for automation and optimisation.
• Gather and document functional and technical requirements.
• Create and maintain Solution Design Documents (SDDs), Technical Design Documents and operational support documentation.
• Design, develop, test and deploy enterprise-grade automation solutions using UiPath.
• Develop reusable automation components, frameworks and libraries to accelerate delivery.
• Ensure solutions adhere to governance, security and operational standards.
• Develop supporting applications, utilities and services using C#/.NET.
• Build and maintain integrations with internal and external platforms using REST APIs, web services and message-based interfaces.
• Design and develop SQL-based data processing, reporting and automation capabilities.
• Work with SQL Server and Oracle databases to support automated workflows and data management requirements.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production deployments.
• Investigate incidents, defects and process failures, performing root cause analysis and implementing permanent fixes.
• Monitor automation performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in knowledge transfer activities and provide support to operational teams.
• Work within Agile/Scrum delivery teams.
• Contribute to sprint planning, estimation, retrospectives and release activities.

We are seeking an experienced Automation Application Developer to design, develop and support intelligent business automation solutions across our organisation. This is a 7-month contract role inside IR35, based in London with hybrid working and three days a week onsite. We operate in the banking sector and are looking for someone with previous experience in this environment. The role is a hands-on engineering position within our Agile delivery teams, supporting engineering transformation and automation initiatives using UiPath, C#/.NET and SQL technologies.
