AI Engineer

Salary: £60,000 - 80,000 per year

Requirements:

• We ideally want experience with Python software development.
• We ideally want experience with React or modern front-end frameworks.
• We ideally want experience with Microsoft Azure or another major cloud platform.
• We ideally want experience with APIs and systems integration.
• We ideally want experience with AI technologies such as LLMs, Azure OpenAI, prompt engineering, or retrieval-based AI.
• Commercial AI experience is welcome, but we are equally interested in engineers who are actively building with AI outside of work and can demonstrate curiosity, initiative, and a desire to learn.

Responsibilities:

• We will build AI-powered internal applications and operational tools using Python and React.
• We will design intelligent workflows, agent-based solutions, and prompt strategies to improve business processes.
• We will develop cloud-native solutions across the Microsoft Azure platform.
• We will integrate AI into existing systems through APIs and modern integration patterns.
• We will collaborate with Solution Architects and Business Analysts to identify opportunities where AI can genuinely add value.
• We will contribute to shared frameworks, reusable components, and engineering best practice.
