MarTech Lead (Data & AI)

Salary: £48,000 - 88,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong SQL skills and experience working in BigQuery or an equivalent data warehouse, including writing validation queries
• Working proficiency in Python or another mainstream programming language for data checks, automation, and pipeline debugging
• Practical experience building with AI or LLM tools, such as automating workflows or building internal agents
• Experience owning at least one platform migration or major data integration project
• Ability to design data architecture and schemas, resolve identities, and reconcile conflicting data across systems
• Ability to translate business objectives into structured delivery plans, requirements, and documentation
• Clear, confident communication skills and the ability to work across teams with different priorities and levels of technical understanding
• Experience managing multiple initiatives in parallel, including external vendors and delivery partners
• Hands-on understanding of marketing technology, measurement, and data, with the ability to work through ambiguity and turn broad goals into practical technical plans

Responsibilities:

• We need our MarTech Lead to own the SFMC-to-Braze migration plan, sequencing, and cutover strategy
• We expect the role to validate data and customer journey parity between SFMC and Braze, reconciling records, logic, and event data at the SQL and pipeline level
• The role will identify and resolve migration-related data issues, including mapping errors, duplicate or missing events, and broken triggers
• We expect the role to own technical coordination with Client Tech and Data Architecture on migration uptime, data integrity, and rollback planning
• The role will define the architecture for a single source of truth, including schema design, identity resolution across tools, update cadence, and conflict ownership
• We need the role to manage third-party tool integrations and specify how data contracts and data from different tools are integrated, deduplicated, and reconciled
• The role will align the source of truth with our existing BigQuery and attribution setup, and build validation and monitoring to flag drift or breakage
• We expect the role to diagnose and resolve data quality issues, integration failures, and broken field mappings directly
• The role will write and maintain SQL and Python for data validation, QA scripts, and customer journey debugging
• We need the role to use AI tools and automation to speed up recurring MarTech work, including QA checks, documentation, campaign audits, migration validation, and training materials
