Senior Software Engineer

Salary: £49,000 - 89,000 per year

Requirements:

• Proven hands-on experience as a software developer
• Expertise in SQL or PL/SQL is an advantage
• A detailed, analytical approach to problem-solving
• Ability to work collaboratively, contribute to team goals, and support colleagues from different backgrounds or with different skill sets
• Motivation to learn and develop your skills while understanding business needs
• Banking sector experience is a bonus
• Experience working with Avaloq technology is a bonus

Responsibilities:

• Participate in all phases of product development and enhancement, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and documentation
• Ensure the quality and maintainability of our products by designing technically sound solutions, finding bugs, and supporting our clients
• Develop subject matter expertise to contribute to product improvements and take ownership of code components
• Estimate work packages
• Maintain and enhance Core Banking modules, develop change requests, and support live clients
• Work closely with subject matter experts in our Product and Parameterization teams to design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality solutions
