Digital Engineer Developer – Agentic AI Engineer

Salary: £45,000 - 75,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong software development skills, including Python, APIs, and scripting
• Experience with automation and workflow platforms
• Familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, and agent patterns
• Understanding of integration patterns and enterprise systems
• 3–8 years of experience in software development or automation engineering
• Experience with modern development tools and cloud-native environments
• For SC clearance eligibility, continuous residence and employment in the UK for the past 5 years
• Nice to have: experience with n8n, LangGraph, or similar tools; knowledge of AI observability and testing frameworks; exposure to CI/CD and DevOps practices; or experience in ITSM automation or managed services

Responsibilities:

• Build and configure agents, workflows, and integrations
• Use AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate development
• Implement agent logic, prompts, and decision flows
• Integrate with enterprise systems, including ITSM platforms, APIs, and data sources
• Test and validate agent behavior and outputs
• Collaborate with architects and service designers on implementation
• Contribute reusable components and templates
