Domain Architect

Salary: £61,000 - 101,000 per year

Requirements:

• Were looking for someone with experience creating an enterprise-level technology strategy or defining a north star for a large part of an enterprise.
• You should have a solid understanding of retail and the key capabilities within a Supply Chain domain.
• We need experience working in Supply Chain, identifying dependencies, and driving activities to resolve key design decisions.
• You should have a strong track record of influencing director- and senior-management-level stakeholders.
• Were looking for a track record of delivering technology transformation through influential architecture artefacts, such as designs, decision records, and transitional architectures, with demonstrable value.
• We value expertise in evolving architectures, modern engineering practices, business capability modelling, and technology principles and standards.
• Strong communication skills are important, including the ability to explain complex technology choices clearly and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with our Heads of Engineering and Product to define the overall technology direction for a significant area of our business.
• Create and drive the north star, technology strategy, and roadmap for our Supply Chain systems.
• Ensure technical decisions are well informed and align with our technology principles and standards.
• Communicate and champion our technology strategy, helping colleagues and teams contribute to and align with the vision.
• Help lead the migration of legacy systems to modern platforms and solutions, identifying enterprise dependencies and ensuring designs align with our strategic vision.
• Collaborate with our wider architecture community, sharing expertise and promoting alignment on key strategic initiatives.
• Maintain accurate information about the Supply Chain domain and scan the external environment for innovative perspectives.
• Influence decision-making across our organisation through strong communication and stakeholder engagement.
