Responsibilities:

• Onboard engineering and domain teams onto our platform.
• Run workflow discovery, training, and co-design workshops.
• Demonstrate golden paths and recommended developer workflows.
• Help teams adopt CI/CD, repositories, templates, and self-service platform capabilities.
• Identify and troubleshoot common adoption blockers.
• Create clear developer documentation, examples, and reusable learning materials.
• Gather feedback directly from engineering teams and turn it into platform improvements.
• Help establish and grow a Community of Practice.
• Coach teams towards greater self-sufficiency and reduce dependency on central platform support.

We are a major technology transformation programme looking for a Developer Enablement SME to help engineering teams adopt and get maximum value from a modern developer platform. This is a remote UK role with an outside IR35 arrangement, a negotiable rate, and a mid-October start date. You will work at the intersection of Developer Experience, Platform Engineering, DevOps, and change adoption, collaborating directly with developers, platform engineers, and domain teams to support a move towards better, more consistent, and increasingly self-service ways of working.
