Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

Salary: £75,000 - 85,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong experience in backend/API development using Node.js, TypeScript, Python, .NET or similar
• Strong experience in modern web development using React, Next.js or comparable frameworks
• Strong experience in GUI and dashboard development
• Strong experience in PostgreSQL and database design
• Strong experience in AWS, Azure or equivalent cloud infrastructure
• Strong experience in authentication, permissions and secure application development
• Strong experience in real-time data, alerts, notifications and WebSockets
• Strong experience in mapping, geospatial data or location-based services
• Strong experience in integration with iOS applications, including push notifications and mobile APIs
• Strong experience in Git, CI/CD, testing and production deployment
• Experience developing systems for security, defence, emergency services, command-and-control, incident management, GSOC/SOC environments or other operational applications is highly desirable
• Strong proven experience in commercial software development

Responsibilities:

• Support the development of a secure situational-awareness and operational-management platform
• Develop and integrate backend services, web-based operational dashboards, graphical user interfaces and mobile application services
• Translate operational requirements into secure, intuitive and reliable technical solutions
