Data Analytics Engineer

Salary: £55,000 - 75,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with DOMO, including dashboards, datasets, dataflows, and connectors.
• Advanced SQL skills.
• Experience using Python or R for analytics, automation, or modelling.
• Proven experience integrating data from multiple sources, including APIs and SaaS platforms.
• Experience designing and developing ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines.
• Strong data visualisation and storytelling skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insights.
• Experience with predictive analytics, machine learning, or AI technologies.
• Exposure to AWS or Azure data platforms.
• Knowledge of data governance, GDPR, and secure data management practices.
• Experience working within large-scale transformation or government programmes.
• Relevant certifications in DOMO, AWS, Azure, or Data Analytics.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive DOMO dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Extract, transform, and integrate data from multiple sources including SaaS applications, APIs, and public datasets.
• Build and optimise ETL/ELT pipelines to support scalable analytics and reporting.
• Develop data models and analytics frameworks that enable self-service reporting and business intelligence.
• Apply advanced analytics, forecasting, and data science techniques to identify trends and opportunities.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define KPIs and reporting requirements.
• Present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders in a clear and engaging manner.
• Ensure high standards of data quality, governance, security, and compliance.
