Digital Transformation Officer

Salary: £31,000 - 31,000 per year

Requirements:

• Proven experience working in operational management or in an analytical role supporting business change.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills.
• Strong relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex data analysis and support a diverse range of end-users, including non-technical users.
• A positive, proactive, and forward-thinking attitude, with a pragmatic approach to user and environmental needs.
• A degree in a relevant field such as math, science, business, information systems, or environmental services is preferred.
• Practical understanding of Power BI, Excel, SQL, and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities:

• Support the South East Digital Treatment team to optimise the use of data, improve reporting, and rethink back-office processes.
• Remove unnecessary paper processes and administrative resources.
• Support project rollouts and the development of innovative technology solutions.
• Collaborate closely with operational teams to ensure data and reporting are effectively used to enhance service efficiency and performance.
• Take ownership of operational data, maintaining it to the highest standard of accuracy, currency, and real-time availability.
• Leverage the latest technology and collaborate with product departments to optimise efficiency and drive improvements through smarter use of existing systems or innovative application of new technology.
• Support the creation and delivery of our digital training strategy and deliver operational end-user training.
• Take guidance from the Digital Transformation Manager, Contract Managers, and the central data analysis team to deliver a planned data-driven approach to service management.
• Collaborate with the national transformation team to align with the digital transformation strategy for treatment.
• Ensure that operational front-line managers can confidently use Management Information for better business decisions by capturing requirements for reporting and system changes and implementing these through relevant channels.
• Support the creation and delivery of product roadmaps with the support of the central product teams.

We are offering a Digital Transformation Officer role in our South East Region, working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm, with a salary of £31,000 plus bonus, car allowance, and other benefits.
