Software Implementation Consultant

Salary: £35,000 - 40,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for someone with a technical background and a good understanding of SQL.
• We would consider a recent Computer Science or similar graduate.
• We would also consider someone with 1–2 years experience in software, technical support, implementation, or a related role.
• You should be comfortable with the basics of SQL and keen to develop your skills further.
• You should enjoy solving problems and figuring out how things work.
• You should be confident communicating with people and able to explain technical ideas clearly.
• You should be organised, practical, and attentive to detail.
• You should be interested in how technology can be used to solve real business problems.
• Experience with stored procedures, Agile, Jira, Confluence, or Zendesk would be useful, but is not essential.

Responsibilities:

• We work with customers to understand what they are trying to achieve and turn those requirements into practical software solutions.
• We get involved in conversations with customers to understand their requirements.
• We help configure and develop solutions using our software platform.
• We use SQL to work with data and develop business logic.
• We learn our software platform and become someone customers can rely on for advice.
• We work closely with experienced members of the team and learn from them.
• We help test solutions and make sure everything works properly before it reaches the customer.
• We keep documentation up to date and make sure projects stay organised.
• Over time, we take on more responsibility and lead customer discussions ourselves.
