Cyber Enterprise Architect

Salary: £51,000 - 91,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong experience as a Cyber Enterprise Architect.
• A track record of creating and embedding technology strategies either within a business domain or within a large-scale transformation programme.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and business terminology.
• Ability to produce quality EA models and artefacts that drive effective decision making.
• Ability to demonstrate alignment of technical decisions with business goals and value delivery.
• A continuous learning mindset and ability to keep pace with industry and market trends.
• Ability to use skill and experience to create tools and content that support the development of the emerging EA practice.
• Experience following structured methodologies for consistency and risk reduction, e.g. TOGAF, SAFe, and system development lifecycles such as waterfall, agile, DevOps, and DevSecOps.
• Ability to build trust and respect as a thought leader who can influence, and when appropriate persuade, technology and business leaders.
• Motivation to lead and drive the team to deliver the business strategy.
• Ability to be technology neutral and unbiased toward any specific technology or vendor choice, focused on value and outcomes.
• Ability to propose and effectively estimate proposed solution commercials.
• Exceptional interpersonal, teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
• Proven analytical, planning, organisational, and technology skills.
• SC clearance or SC clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the creation and evolution of Cyber Tech Strategies adopted by the CISO and other business and technology stakeholders.
• Create and maintain a current and target view of our Enterprise Architecture to deliver our business and technology strategies.
• Support business and technology change through capability roadmaps that inform portfolio prioritisation.
• Establish and assure effective architecture governance and tooling to support Solution Architecture and other GIS teams.
• Work closely with our Solution Architecture function to ensure Tech Strategy is viable and that new solutions can be architected within EA principles and guardrails while still delivering desired outcomes to business areas.
• Support annual and quarterly business and portfolio planning processes to ensure initiatives and plans are consistent with agreed tech strategies.
• Ensure our EA tool information is up to date and has the required breadth and depth.
• Support the development of architecture tools and techniques to support others in the practice.
