Smart Automation Consultant - Power Platform
Job Description
Salary: £29,500 - 42,000 per year
Requirements:- Working knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate
- Experience connecting to Azure data sources from Power Platform
- Power BI and Power Automate for Desktop experience is a definite plus
- Exposure to Azure DevOps
- Ability to understand business processes and translate them into requirements for workflows and automation using SharePoint, Power Platform, and/or Nintex
- Experience in Microsoft technologies including C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Visual Studio, and SQL Server
- Experience with web technologies including HTML 5, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, XML, and Web Services
- Delivery-focused with an Agile mindset
- Strong sense of ownership and business accountability
- Desirable: financial domain experience and previous consulting experience
- Desirable: experience in SharePoint Framework (SPFx), SharePoint Administration, and Governance
- Desirable: knowledge and experience in one JavaScript framework such as React or Angular
- Desirable: programming knowledge in Python
- Desirable: Agile Scrum experience or certification
- Desirable: knowledge of best practices with development and testing procedures, TDD, and SOLID principles
- Desirable: experience using JIRA
- Desirable: knowledge of Salesforce or Dynamics CRM
- Provide solutions to process improvement requirements for our clients, primarily based on Microsoft Power Platform technologies
- Create and maintain SharePoint architecture standards and frameworks, answering client questions and resolving concerns and issues
- Design baseline SharePoint information architecture, including metadata term store taxonomy and content type definitions
- Act as a subject matter expert for automation platforms
- Establish and manage governance of automation platforms
- Participate in project activities such as requirements gathering, analysing, and documenting business and functional procedures
- Develop process flows, forms, server setup, and configuration while sharing knowledge with in-house developers
- Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing effective procedures and system requirements that meet business requirements
- Participate in presales activities and contribute to Proof of Concepts and related development activities
