Cloud Platform Engineer
Job Description
Salary: £22,000 - 60,000 per year
Requirements:- We need you to have at least 5 years of experience in Azure Cloud.
- We need you to have at least 5 years of experience with IaC and Terraform.
- We need you to have at least 5 years of experience building and managing Kubernetes environments.
- We need you to have at least 5 years of experience with Azure DevOps or other CI/CD GIT platforms.
- We need you to have at least 5 years of experience with cloud security and connectivity, including Key Vault, vNet, DNS, firewalls, ExpressRoute/Direct Connect, VPN, GTM, and NSG.
- We need you to have practical experience with containerization and clustering technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- We need you to have experience building automated CI/CD pipelines with tools such as SonarQube, Fortify, and Selenium.
- We need you to be an excellent communicator who can influence decision makers and work successfully in cross-functional teams.
- Desirable experience includes Azure Active Directory, Cloud Adoption Framework, API Management, cloud monitoring, CDN, and high availability across zones and regions.
- We will ask you to design, develop, test, and deploy solutions that improve collaboration and productivity for development teams.
- We will ask you to automate infrastructure, automate workflows, and continuously measure and improve application performance.
- We will ask you to create, maintain, and deploy secure, highly available, fault-tolerant systems at scale across on-premise and cloud-native architectures.
- We will ask you to support development, testing, and production environments.
- We will ask you to develop and maintain solutions for operational administration, system and data backup, disaster recovery, and security and performance monitoring.
- We will ask you to deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments to maximize efficiency and optimise flow, enabling daily code deployment by delivery teams.
- We will ask you to help develop policies, standards, governance, and guidance for teams using the CI/CD pipelines.
- We will ask you to work with architects to design scalable infrastructure and systems for complex applications.
- We will ask you to collaborate with the Release Manager on release planning, including identifying deployment steps and pre- and post-deployment activities.
- We will ask you to develop and support container-based solutions using Kubernetes and Docker for Azure Cloud.
