Sr. Software Engineer (Salesforce)

Salary: £70,000 - 93,000 per year

Requirements:

• 7+ years of professional experience as a Senior Software Engineer.
• Experience with at least one major backend programming language, especially Java or Python, and one major frontend programming language, especially Vue or React.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Testing, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Collaborative and able to work both in a team and independently.
• Pragmatic approach to solving problems while balancing business goals.
• Experience building integrations.
• Proficiency with ETL data pipelines.
• Agentic AI experience.
• Experience using AI coding assistants such as Claude or Gemini for the majority of coding tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain our Salesforce integration.
• Contribute to the development of other integrations.
• Write architectural design and specification documents.
• Develop well-tested features with appropriate test hooks, resulting in low defect reports.
• Write clean, modular, and maintainable code using best practices, along with unit tests.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and scalability.
• Assist with emerging Agentic AI technologies and initiatives.
• Represent the team as a technical expert.
• Provide mentorship and guidance for other engineers on the team.
