Cloud Engineer

Salary: £50,000 - 55,000 per year

Requirements:

• Good level of experience working within a Microsoft Azure cloud environment.
• Microsoft Azure Certifications: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900), Azure AI Fundamentals (AI-900).
• Practical experience with infrastructure-as-code, with working knowledge of Bicep for deploying and managing Azure resources.
• Scripting proficiency with regular use of PowerShell and Azure CLI for automation, configuration, and operational tasks.
• Experience deploying virtualised infrastructure environments including compute, virtualisation, storage, and security.
• Experience with security vulnerability management and remediation.
• Experience administering Microsoft environments such as Windows Server and SQL Server.
• Familiarity with ITSM tooling and service desk processes.
• Experience working within or toward ISO 27001 and/or Cyber Essentials Plus certified environments.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Build, deploy, and maintain the cloud infrastructure that powers our internal operations and client-facing project delivery.
• Work to designs and standards set by the Cloud Operations Manager.
• Use a code-first, automation-first approach to infrastructure delivery.
• Build and manage infrastructure through code using Bicep, PowerShell, and Azure CLI as standard tools.
• Ensure consistent, reliable, and secure cloud operations at scale.
