Salary: £40,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Full stack development experience using the .NET platform, including C# and .NET Core.
  • Front-end experience with Angular.
  • Object-oriented design experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of software engineering disciplines, practices, and techniques.
  • Understanding and experience of the overall SDLC for application development.
  • Experience with CI/CD.
  • Understanding and experience of Agile and SAFe methodologies.
  • Previous experience in medical devices or other regulated/safety-critical areas.
  • Back-end experience with microservices, REST APIs, SQL, and RabbitMQ.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, VMware, and Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with domain-driven design practices.
  • Experience with asynchronous programming and event-driven systems using message queues.
Responsibilities:
  • Define, design, develop, and maintain application components, services, and APIs on our domain-based service-oriented platform hosted on containers.
  • Deliver full-stack development across web and desktop UI, messaging, and storage solutions.
  • Maintain and improve software quality metrics, including test coverage and code maintainability.
  • Create, review, and maintain tests across all levels of the V-Model, including unit, component, and potentially automated and manual system tests.
  • Ensure products are developed in accordance with the applicable published development process and that documentation is created accordingly.
  • Contribute to our CI/CD pipeline and test automation environments to enable fast and effective delivery and deployment.
  • Work as part of a scrum team to deliver your own tasks and support others when priorities or impediments require it.
  • Participate in the safety lifecycle, including safety analysis, raising safety issues, and creating traceable hazard mitigation.
  • Define and review requirements, apply architectural guidance, and provide input into architectural definition.
  • Lead the technical direction of product development across teams.
