Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer

Salary: £100,000 - 130,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require UK citizenship for this position and the ability to obtain and maintain the highest level of UK Government security clearance.
• We require a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent relevant experience.
• We require an AWS certification at Practitioner or Associate level, with experience designing and deploying cloud solutions.
• We require experience administering Linux and Windows operating systems in large corporate environments.
• We require a strong understanding of IPv4 networking, including subnetting and routing.
• We require experience automating tasks using Ansible, Bash, PowerShell, Puppet or Python.
• Preferred: experience working across high-classification systems or in national security environments.
• Preferred: exposure to DevSecOps practices and Infrastructure as Code tooling.

Responsibilities:

• We design, build and maintain AWS and hybrid-cloud systems.
• We administer Linux and Windows-based environments.
• We maintain and troubleshoot IP networking across cloud and hybrid systems.
• We automate deployment, operation and maintenance tasks using Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools.
• We continuously expand our own skills, maintaining and enhancing relevant certifications.
