Solution Architect Engineer

Salary: £47,000 - 48,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require an engineering degree, computer science degree, or equivalent.
• We require experience in the nuclear industry and knowledge of EPR technology.
• We require proven experience with at least one PLM platform, including Dassault 3DX and Netvibes.
• We require proven experience with at least one PLM solution for a nuclear project.
• We require strong PLM and digital engineering expertise, including PLM data models, data modelling, lifecycle management, configuration and change management, and digital thread and digital continuity concepts.
• We require experience with system integration and APIs.
• We require good organisational skills.
• We require the ability to adapt and learn in a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural environment.
• We require the ability to set, achieve, and maintain high standards regarding safety and quality.
• We require fluent English.
• French is a bonus.
• Knowledge of Python, R, or SQL is desirable.
• Knowledge of engineering tools such as AVEVA is desirable.
• Knowledge of Dassault 3Dx PLM and Netvibes tools is desirable.
• Ability to communicate in French is desirable.
• A masters degree and experienced-level background are required by the posting.

• We ensure the solution aligns with business strategy, engineering processes, IT standards, and regulatory constraints.
• We maintain a global and long-term view of the PLM landscape.
• We ensure coherence of functional and technical choices.
• We ensure the scalability and sustainability of the PLM solution.
• We align business needs, PLM capabilities, and enterprise architecture.
• We provide architectural direction and design authority alongside PLM Solution Engineers.
• We support configuration identification.
• We support configuration management for key project milestones.
• We support full traceability and configuration control.
• We support change management.
• We own the PLM architectural vision and coherence.
• We ensure alignment between business strategy, PLM capabilities, and IT standards.
• We make key design and governance decisions.
• We ensure the PLM landscape remains robust, compliant, and scalable over time.
• We lead activities across architectural design and ownership, business and process alignment, functional governance, technical architecture and integration, and project and stakeholder leadership.
