Senior AI Engineer
Job Description
Salary: £24,000 - 59,000 per year
Requirements:- Experience in solutioning across Gen AI, Agentic AI, classic ML, and automation.
- Experience and strong understanding of GenAI prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, supervised and unsupervised ML, and AI observability.
- Experience with enterprise-grade RAG-based solutions using LLMs such as OpenAI, Hugging Face, and LLaMA, as well as vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, and FAISS.
- Experience in designing and scaling GenAI chatbots.
- Experience in Agentic AI solutions, with knowledge of frameworks such as LangGraph, AutoGen, and CrewAI, and orchestration tooling such as MCP Servers in at least one hyperscaler.
- Good understanding of Responsible AI principles.
- Ability to transform business problems into analytical solutions, foster cross-functional collaboration, and build integrated solutions.
- Strong articulation, stakeholder management, and consulting skills.
- Experience driving productivity and cost optimizations.
- Skills in Python with AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
- Knowledge of Prompt Engineering, LangChain, LangSmith/Langfuse, Gen AI / Agentic AI, and cloud platforms such as Azure AI Foundry, AWS Bedrock/SageMaker, and GCP Vertex AI.
- Experience with MLOps/LLMOps tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Preferred: delivered AI projects within Agile frameworks.
- Preferred: experience in Gen AI feedback analysis, topic modelling, and sentiment analysis.
- Preferred: knowledge of AgentOps and OpenTelemetry.
- Preferred: understanding of network security concepts, network telemetry and analytics.
- Preferred: understanding of cloud computing and virtualization.
- Preferred: exposure to APM/observability tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Datadog, and Splunk.
- Preferred: exposure to onshore-offshore model working with professionals spread across the globe.
- Personal traits: high analytical skills, initiative, flexibility, adaptability, customer orientation, team engagement, quality awareness, strong verbal and written communication, transparency, and integrity.
- Drive the design and implementation of innovative AI solutions for our clients.
- Understand client needs and design tailored solutions.
- Ensure successful delivery of projects that meet defined metrics.
- Research AI trends and define AI models and frameworks.
- Shape Gen AI and Agentic AI ecosystems for our clients in Europe.
- Work closely with business, product, and engineering teams across geographies.
- Lead problem definition and discovery for overall solutions.
- Guide teams on project processes and deliverables.
- Anchor business pursuit initiatives, client training, and in-house capability building.
- Help clients define roadmaps and realize productivity gains and business benefits through automation, AI, and Gen AI.
