Senior DevEx Engineer

Salary: £68,000 - 108,000 per year

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in Infrastructure, DevEx, SRE, or DevOps roles supporting high-traffic, distributed environments
• Deep expertise in AWS and Kubernetes (K8s)
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform
• Ability to script and build tools in multiple languages such as Python, Go, Scala, or Bash
• A doc-first mentality and the ability to collaborate across distributed product teams
• Background in hardening infrastructure for high-compliance or security-sensitive environments is a plus
• Experience scaling consumer tech platforms with millions of concurrent users is a plus
• Professional accreditation such as AWS Professional Architect, CKAD, or KCSA is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Build self-service tools that give product teams autonomy without sacrificing system stability
• Architect and evolve our core stack, including AWS, EKS, and Terraform
• Lead reliability initiatives, including business continuity planning and a sustainable on-call rotation
• Support the infrastructure for privacy features such as our Anonymous Mode
• Implement best-in-class monitoring across metrics, logs, and tracing to identify and mitigate issues before they affect users
