Lead Software Engineer

Salary: £35,000 - 65,000 per year

• Deep expertise in TypeScript/JavaScript with a proven track record of leading high-impact engineering projects in complex backend environments.
• Strong systems-thinking approach with a focus on performance, security-first architecture, and long-term maintainability.
• Experience designing and deploying sophisticated RESTful APIs and distributed systems that handle high-concurrency workloads.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the architectural design and implementation of highly scalable, mission-critical systems that power tokenized asset lifecycles.
• Own the evolution of our core platform, ensuring high performance and security for features such as cross-border asset voting and real-time portfolio management.
• Engineer robust, secure APIs that enable global institutional partners to integrate with our on-chain infrastructure.
• Translate ambiguous product requirements into rigorous, well-documented, and battle-tested software solutions.
• Set the technical standard for the engineering organization and help foster a culture of rapid iteration without compromising system integrity.
• Mentor and elevate the engineering team through peer reviews, technical guidance, and shared ownership.
