Cyber Security Specialist

Salary: £43,500 - 73,500 per year

Requirements:

• AWS, GCP, Splunk, LogRhythm, and Qualys experience
• Experience implementing security technology controls, secure configuration, and security projects
• Knowledge of information security risk management, controls, and frameworks including NIST, CIS, and PCI-DSS
• Understanding of IT systems and networking
• Experience with XDR, including Palo Alto Cortex
• Microsoft Security experience, including Defender for Endpoint, Identity, Cloud Apps, and Office 365
• Experience with Azure AD, Microsoft Purview, and Azure Sentinel
• Experience with SIEM/SOAR
• Knowledge of endpoint security and XDR

Responsibilities:

• Implement security controls, including XDR
• Act as the escalation point for security tickets raised in ITSM and incident management portals
• Implement and operate InfoSec processes, including threat hunting, detection, monitoring, and incident response
• Deliver cyber security projects and implement new cyber security tooling and threat-informed system projects
• Deliver the group offensive security programme
• Provide advice, consultancy, and support to the group on controls, compliance, and technical standards management
• Implement and maintain technical cyber security controls, including XDR, vulnerability scanning, privileged access management, and related tooling
• Identify and test cyber security technologies
• Support controls, IAM, patch management, and security event monitoring
• Identify cyber threats, hunt for threats, and assess exposure
• Take part in the InfoSec incident management process, including preparation, containment, analysis, and response
• Implement new cyber security tooling and threat-informed systems
