Job Description

Salary: £50,000 - 90,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing or equivalent qualification, with a strong passion for technology and flair for creativity
  • Hands-on experience with web technologies, APIs, and modern development frameworks
  • Understanding of video streaming concepts or eagerness to dive deep into media technology
  • Competence in at least one programming language (Python, JavaScript, or similar)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
  • Experience creating technical content (blog posts, tutorials, documentation, or videos)
  • Strong empathy for developer frustrations and challenges
  • Passion for helping others succeed and genuine enjoyment of developer interactions
  • Experience participating in developer communities, forums, or open source projects
  • Natural networking ability and enthusiasm for building relationships
  • Creative problem-solving skills and willingness to experiment with new approaches
  • Strong analytical skills to measure community engagement and content effectiveness

Responsibilities:
  • Be the voice of developers within MK.IO, advocating for their needs and translating feedback into actionable product improvements
  • Build and nurture our developer community through forums, social channels, and direct engagement
  • Create and maintain feedback channels that ensure every developer voice is heard and valued
  • Drive the transformation of our documentation and learning resources
  • Design and create tutorials, guides, and interactive demos that makes MK.IO approachable for developers
  • Produce engaging video content, blog posts, and tutorials that showcase the power and simplicity of our streaming platform
  • Host webinars, speak at conferences, and represent MK.IO at developer events and meetups
  • Work closely with our engineering teams to ensure new features ship with developer-friendly interfaces and clear documentation
  • Test and validate new features from a developer perspective, ensuring they meet our self-service standards
