Solutions Engineer

Salary: £78,000 - 101,000 per year

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in solution design or integration with direct client interaction in a SaaS-based environment; Solutions Engineer experience is preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver solution pitches and explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• BA/BS/Masters degree in Computer Science or another technical field
• Strong understanding of systems integration concepts, API implementation (RESTful services), and relational databases (SQL)
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Experience working closely with remote teams
• Ability to learn and work with a variety of technological environments, including emerging technologies, methodologies, and cloud/IT solutions
• Ability to multitask and work well under deadlines in a changing environment
• Previous experience in eCommerce and Logistics/Operations is a strong advantage

Responsibilities:

• Help clients understand the value and flexibility of our platform by explaining technical features and solving potential roadblocks
• Work with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, technical objections, and strategies to resolve integration challenges
• Recommend integration strategies and provide best-practice guidance to help customers successfully implement and optimize our platform
• Act as a technical focal point for client integrations, including demonstrating and prototyping integrations in merchant environments
• Provide ongoing education and technical support to current partners and integrated clients
• Stay current on our product features and roadmaps by participating in internal technical discussions and sharing client feedback with Product and R&D
• Lead technology and integration discussions in both face-to-face and remote meetings with prospects and existing clients
• Bring client feedback, input, and requests back to our Product and R&D teams
