Lead Cloud Solutions Engineer

Salary: £100,000 - 130,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require British citizenship for this position.
• You must be able to gain and maintain the highest level of UK Government security clearance (Developed Vetting).
• We are looking for proven experience in IT systems design, deployment and administration, including leadership responsibilities.
• We require AWS certification at Associate level, with hands-on experience delivering cloud-based solutions.
• You should have strong expertise in Linux and Windows system administration within large-scale environments.
• You should have a solid understanding of IPv4 networking, including subnetting, routing (OSPF), VLANs and VPNs.
• We are looking for experience automating tasks using tools such as Ansible, Bash, PowerShell, Puppet or Python.

Responsibilities:

• We design, build and implement AWS and hybrid cloud solutions aligned to customer requirements.
• We collaborate with stakeholders to define scalable, secure infrastructure architectures.
• We administer and optimise Linux and Windows-based systems in enterprise environments.
• We design and troubleshoot IP networking solutions, including AWS networking and hybrid connectivity.
• We automate deployment, configuration and maintenance processes using Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tooling.
• We contribute to continuous improvement through DevSecOps practices and innovation.
