Senior DevOps Analyst

Salary: £55,000 - 95,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• We require strong experience in Linux/Unix administration.
• We require hands-on expertise with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• We require experience with at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• We require experience with containers and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• We require experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
• We require experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• We require scripting skills in Bash, Shell, or Python.
• We require experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk.
• We require strong knowledge of Git-based version control platforms such as GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
• We require understanding of security practices including IAM, secrets management, and vulnerability scanning.
• We require experience supporting high-availability production systems.
• We require experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• We consider DevSecOps experience, microservices exposure, knowledge of Helm, ArgoCD, or Spinnaker, and cloud or DevOps certifications to be an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• We design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment.
• We manage and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• We implement Infrastructure as Code to support scalable and repeatable environments.
• We build and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• We ensure system reliability, scalability, security, and performance.
• We implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
• We collaborate with development, QA, and security teams.
• We troubleshoot production issues and lead incident response.
• We mentor junior DevOps engineers and promote best practices.
• We support Agile and DevSecOps initiatives.
