Salesforce Technical Manager
Job Description
Salary: £66,500 - 91,000 per year
Requirements:- Strong Salesforce technical skills and hands-on experience with one or more of the following: advanced Salesforce technical certifications such as Platform Developer II or architect-track certifications, Salesforce architecture ecosystem, onsite technical roles on at least three full-lifecycle Salesforce implementations, Salesforce development lifecycle, native programmatic development capabilities, declarative development techniques, relational databases and data modelling, or Salesforce mobile offerings.
- Strong consulting and/or CRM implementation experience in a client-facing context.
- Experience in at least two Salesforce modules or areas such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, or Agentforce.
- Experience with code management, architecture, security, capacity planning, integration, and release management approaches, including SFDX CLI, VS Code, Git, CI/CD, test automation, and scratch orgs.
- Hands-on experience with Apex, LWC, Aura, and/or Visualforce.
- Experience with Flow Builder, approval processes, custom objects, validation rules, formulas, and Data Loader.
- Confident and articulate communication skills, with strong presentation, verbal, and written communication abilities.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with senior technical stakeholders and executive clients.
- Ability to create high-quality technical documentation.
- University degree or equivalent knowledge gained through hands-on industry experience is considered valuable.
- Must already have the right to live and work in the UK.
- Lead technical and solution architecture design, development, prototyping, testing, and deployment of Salesforce solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with executive clients and sponsors as a trusted advisor.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary digital experts to create innovative, cutting-edge solutions.
- Contribute technical expertise to RFP responses and other business development activities.
- Mentor and coach junior technical talent to support their growth and development.
- Define and drive continuous improvement of architectural standards, approaches, frameworks, and tools.
- Build and maintain a broad internal and external network and advocate for best practices in technology and engineering.
- Create clear, comprehensive technical documentation to support design consensus, build efforts, decision-making, and system records.
