Job Description

Salary: £39,687 - 39,687 per year

Requirements:
  • Experience working within an IT service environment
  • Understanding of IT Service Management principles and best practice
  • Hands-on experience using ServiceNow, including service request management, ticket handling, reporting and service catalogue processes
  • Knowledge of ITIL disciplines is desirable
  • Experience identifying service trends and analysing operational data
  • Ability to produce meaningful reports and service insights
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience working with Configuration Management Databases (CMDBs)
  • Understanding of the importance of asset visibility and service mapping
  • Ability to support audits and maintain data quality standards
  • Experience maintaining service and asset records within ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical information into business-friendly language
  • Experience working with multiple teams, suppliers and stakeholders
  • Customer-focused approach to service delivery
  • Passion for improving processes and service outcomes
  • Ability to identify opportunities for optimisation and efficiency
  • Experience supporting organisational change and service improvements
Responsibilities:
  • Help manage service requests within our IT function
  • Maintain critical service and asset data
  • Provide insight that supports operational performance across the organisation
  • Work closely with IT teams, service partners and business stakeholders to enhance the user experience
  • Improve service delivery and maintain accurate records across our service catalogue and Configuration Management Database
  • Analyse trends and identify recurring issues
  • Support service reporting and asset governance
  • Contribute directly to the effective delivery of IT services across Cadent
  • Identify trends, recurring issues and improvement opportunities that enhance the experience of IT services
  • Use analysis and reporting to support decision-making, service performance and operational priorities
  • Help maintain a trusted view of services, assets and technology dependencies across the organisation
  • Work closely with Service Operations, Technology Strategy, Digital Risk and Security teams, suppliers and vendors
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of service request processes, catalogue management and service reporting
  • Support the delivery of reliable and effective IT services that enable colleagues across Cadent to perform at their best
