Senior Platform Engineer (eDV)

Salary: £43,000 - 72,000 per year

Requirements:

• We need an active eDV clearance (enhanced DV) to work in secure National Infrastructure environments.
• We are looking for a strong background in Platform Engineering, DevOps or a closely related discipline.
• Experience working within Agile or DevOps teams is important, ideally using SCRUM.
• Experience with public cloud environments, particularly AWS and/or Azure, is required.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet or Chef is desirable.
• Experience designing and supporting automated software delivery pipelines is required.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins or Concourse, or comparable cloud-based platforms, is desirable.
• Experience with containers and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, ECS or AKS is desirable.
• Experience with automation and scripting is required.
• Experience with Git or other source-control technologies is required.
• Experience supporting the deployment and operation of complex or large-scale applications is required.
• Experience working on secure or highly regulated technology projects would be beneficial.

We are hiring a Senior Platform Engineer to join our specialist technology team delivering highly secure solutions within the national security environment. The role is based in Gloucester or Manchester with a hybrid working arrangement of 3 days per week on site.
