Salary: £28,000 - 40,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Strong attention to detail with a methodical, analytical approach to problem-solving and clear written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to complete structured manual testing, including functional, UAT, regression, and end-to-end testing, with an understanding of SDLC and STLC principles.
  • Proficiency in identifying and reporting defects through tools like Jira, TestRail, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to coordinate closely with web product management, engineering, QA, and BA teams to help resolve issues and improve the clarity and quality of testing.
  • Comfortable performing cross-browser and cross-device validation to identify functional or usability issues.
  • Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to follow structured procedures, handle competing priorities, and meet sprint-based deadlines.
  • Curious, proactive approach with a willingness to learn new tools, techniques, and QA practices.
  • Practical experience in manual functional testing of web applications, including writing and executing test cases, scenarios, and scripts.
  • Experience using test and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or TestRail, with the ability to provide clear evidence and maintain organized test artifacts.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery environments, participating in sprint ceremonies and contributing to iterative delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Foundational understanding of HTML/CSS, API testing concepts, or browser developer tools, with interest in developing technical testing skills over time.
  • Experience supporting UAT execution, validating acceptance criteria, and providing structured test evidence for release readiness.
  • Ability to analyze functional requirements and translate them into effective test coverage, identifying risks, dependencies, and gaps.
  • Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience working with digital products or SaaS platforms.
Responsibilities:
  • Complete manual testing of website features and journeys, including functional, UAT, regression, and end-to-end testing, to ensure changes meet business, functional, and quality requirements.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using test management tools, providing complete and accurate evidence including steps, expected vs. actual results, and severity.
  • Develop and maintain test cases, test plans, and regression packs to ensure comprehensive and consistent pre-release validation across sprint cycles.
  • Work closely with web product management, engineering, QA, and business analysts to clarify requirements, validate fixes, support UAT, and contribute to release readiness.
  • Conduct cross-browser and mobile testing, investigate behavioral or functional issues, and provide input on opportunities for future automation.
  • Provide structured support to the L1/L2 web support teams by validating issues, clarifying defects, and supplying clear test evidence.
  • Support knowledge transfer activities by identifying recurring support gaps and helping train teams or departments to strengthen platform understanding and reduce repeat issues.
