Director - SAP Analytics Cloud Planning
Job Description
Salary: £58,000 - 98,000 per year
Requirements:- Strong experience delivering SAP Analytics Cloud solutions, with a focus on planning use cases and multiple full project lifecycles
- Deep understanding of business finance processes and how SAC can support them
- Ability to create complex system architecture
- Proven track record of leading large-scale transformation programmes
- Demonstrated commercial acumen, including sales, pricing, and margin management
- Strong stakeholder management at executive level
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams across functional and technical domains
- Ideally, industry expertise in energy, defence, retail, or life sciences
- Experience with other EPM tools such as SAP BPC, Tagetik, Lumel, or Pigment
- Experience with consolidation tools such as SAP Group Reporting or Tagetik
- SAP analytics experience with SAP BW, Datasphere, or BDC
- We lead project engagements directly with clients and our partners
- We guide our team through all phases of a project, from identifying client value and developing new opportunities to designing and delivering solutions
- We act as senior delivery lead across complex SAC programmes focused on financial planning
- We oversee solution architecture and ensure alignment with client enterprise data strategies
- We manage senior client stakeholders, including CFO, CIO, and Heads of Data or FP&A, as trusted advisors
- We resolve critical delivery risks and escalations across workstreams
- We ensure integration across finance, data, and technology domains
- We own and contribute to sales pipelines, leading pursuits and proposals for EPM
- We shape client propositions around FP&A transformation
- We lead bid teams, including solutioning, pricing, and commercial structuring
- We drive revenue growth and margin performance across engagements
- We identify and originate new opportunities within existing client accounts
- We define and evolve our EPM offering, including go-to-market propositions
- We lead development of reusable assets
- We drive innovation in areas such as AI-enabled planning and predictive analytics
- We build and develop our SAC capability, including mentoring junior colleagues
- We support recruitment and workforce planning aligned to our growth strategy
- We establish delivery standards, methods, and best practices across the practice
- We foster a high-performance culture focused on quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- We represent our firm externally in client meetings, industry forums, and with alliance partners
- We contribute to thought leadership and position our practice as a leader in SAC and SAP data and analytics solutions
