• Experience with SAS Viya 3.5 and SAS Viya 4.
• Experience with SAS Visual Analytics and SAS Visual Investigator.
• Experience with Oracle.
• Strong configuration and release management experience.
• Experience with software testing lifecycle and defect management.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• HMRC or public sector experience is desirable.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or SAS PaaS is desirable.
• Experience with Airflow or SAS Migration Factory is desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end release process across Development, Test and Production.
• Coordinate Development, Testing and Operations teams to deliver releases on time.
• Manage configuration standards, manifests and structured release artefacts.
• Package and deploy SAS DI code (SPKs) and Oracle artefacts.
• Support SAS 9.4 to SAS Viya 4 migration using CI/CD practices.
• Lead release readiness reviews, go/no-go decisions and post-release retrospectives.
• Ensure full release traceability, governance and auditability.

We are hiring an experienced Release Manager to join a major HMRC/Minerva programme supporting the delivery of critical Self-Assessment risk and compliance capabilities. This is a 6-month contract role at a rate of £515 per day inside IR35, based in Telford with a hybrid working arrangement of two days per week on site. This is a strong opportunity for someone who combines release and configuration management expertise with hands-on SAS and Oracle knowledge.
