DevOps Engineer
Job Description
Salary: £65,000 - 85,000 per year
Requirements:- Active SC Clearance (mandatory)
- Strong commercial experience delivering DevOps solutions within AWS environments
- Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Lambda and ECS/EKS
- Strong Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI
- Strong Docker and Kubernetes experience in production environments
- Scripting skills using Python and/or Bash
- Solid understanding of Git version control
- Experience working within Agile, multidisciplinary teams
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Design, implement and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform
- Build secure, highly available and scalable cloud environments
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration and operational processes
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting efficient software delivery
- Improve monitoring, logging and observability capabilities
- Deploy and manage Docker and Kubernetes-based workloads
- Support cloud platforms across production and non-production environments
- Investigate and resolve infrastructure, deployment and platform issues
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver robust cloud-native solutions
