Junior Cybersecurity & Networking Technician

Salary: £25,900 - 25,900 per year

Responsibilities:

• Assist with monitoring our client networks and systems.
• Support the identification and reporting of potential cybersecurity threats.
• Help configure and maintain networking equipment, including routers, switches, and wireless access points.
• Provide first-line technical support to our clients via phone, email, and remote support tools.
• Assist with user account management, password resets, and access permissions.
• Support security software deployment, updates, and maintenance.
• Help investigate cybersecurity alerts and escalate issues where required.
• Carry out routine system health checks and maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client systems and support activities.
• Assist with software installations, upgrades, and patch management.
• Contribute to cybersecurity awareness initiatives and best practice guidance.
