Salary: £35,000 - 35,000 per year

Requirements:
  • We require a bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • We require AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator certification.
  • We require a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.
  • We require strong knowledge of infrastructure and security management.
  • We require experience with Azure, AWS, Intune, and Manage Engine (Endpoint Central, Applications Manager).
  • We require excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • We require proficiency in managing virtual machines, network devices, and security systems.
  • We require the ability to handle complex technical issues and provide advanced support.
  • We require strong analytical and reporting skills.
Responsibilities:
  • We provide advanced technical support and manage infrastructure and security requirements for our clients.
  • We handle complex technical issues to ensure system availability and maintain security standards across multiple platforms.
  • We support our Microsoft infrastructure stack, including Microsoft Entra ID, SSO, Azure, virtual machines, domain controllers, file servers, hosted RDS environments, and other hosted services.
  • We maintain patching schedules for virtual machines, Microsoft applications, third-party applications, and antivirus definitions, including Microsoft Defender.
  • We apply critical and high-risk patches within 14 days of release to maintain Cyber Essentials compliance.
  • We monitor usage and availability through our internal monitoring platform and report on compliance and remediation efforts.
  • We support our MDM stack, including Microsoft Intune, Apple Business Manager, and MaaS360, as well as device endpoints using Manage Engine Endpoint & Applications Manager.
  • We maintain patching schedules and configurations for devices through policy and daily checks.
  • We ensure daily compliance with the application stack and security baselines.
  • We manage the zero-touch Autopilot deployment process and identify efficiency improvements.
  • We champion automation across our client estate by scripting in PowerShell to improve productivity and reduce complexity.
  • We work with our SaaS backup solution to ensure efficient and smooth operation.
  • We triage tickets escalated through the service desk and liaise with third-party support for critical requests.
  • We manage, review, and test our Disaster Recovery Plan to ensure it remains fit for purpose.
  • We conduct regular disaster recovery assurance testing, including Azure infrastructure failover, M365 backup and restore, and network infrastructure failover.
  • We act as a primary point of contact for incident response and major incident management.
  • We participate in continuous improvement meetings and help define recovery objectives such as RTO and RPO.
  • We monitor our client estate regularly to identify opportunities for upgrades and efficiency improvements across IaaS, SaaS, and connectivity.
  • We attend monthly client meetings to discuss technical options, answer questions, and demonstrate our expertise.
  • We support technical projects for ongoing client development.
  • We handle service desk tickets and requests, including categorisation, prioritisation, investigation, diagnosis, escalation, knowledge base development, resolutions, and complaint handling.
