RPG Software Developer
Job Description
Salary: £65,000 - 65,000 per year
Requirements:- Commercial experience developing IBM i / RPG applications.
- Experience maintaining and modernising business-critical applications.
- Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
- RPG experience across multiple versions, including legacy and modern RPG.
- ILE experience.
- SQL experience.
- CLP experience.
- IBM i OS experience.
- Query 400 and DFU experience.
- Experience using an IDE such as VS Code or RDI.
- Develop, enhance, test and support applications for a wide range of customer projects.
- Analyse business requirements and design effective software solutions.
- Produce technical documentation for new developments and application enhancements.
- Gain a strong understanding of client business processes and application landscapes to provide effective long-term support.
- Manage software changes from requirements gathering through to implementation.
- Deliver training and knowledge transfer to customers where appropriate.

We are a growing software development team working on business-critical applications for well-known organisations across the finance, manufacturing and retail sectors. This is a hybrid role based on client sites in Leeds and our office in Milton Keynes, with office attendance once a month. We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 to £65,000 plus bonus and benefits.
