Technical Lead

Salary: £104,000 - 123,400 per year

Requirements:

• Strong experience with .NET and modern React development
• Experience leading teams of 5 developers
• Comfortable working in large legacy systems
• Strong Azure cloud experience
• Ability to guide technical decisions, architecture, and engineering standards
• Desirable: Experience modernising monolithic applications
• Desirable: Public sector experience
• Desirable: Experience reducing technical debt in long-lived systems
• Must be eligible for BPSS Clearance

Responsibilities:

• Support the development and evolution of a large-scale Azure-hosted platform
• Provide technical leadership to a team of 7 developers
• Balance feature delivery with gradual architectural improvement
• Remain hands-on with development (roughly 60/40 technical leadership vs coding)
• Work with legacy MVC components alongside modern cloud technologies
• Guide technical decisions and establish engineering standards
