Job Description

Salary: £53,000 - 93,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Elementor for building, customising, and optimising websites with minimal reliance on coding.
  • 3–5 years experience at mid-to-senior level in web development, with a primary focus on building WordPress websites using Elementor.
  • Strong background in web design, with an eye for detail and aesthetics, including hands-on proficiency designing in Figma and translating those designs into built websites.
  • Experience with DNS management, SEO best practices, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console.
  • Strong understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles, ensuring websites function seamlessly on mobile and desktop platforms.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical challenges related to Elementor, website performance, DNS, and SEO.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical team members and clients.
  • Proven experience working directly with clients, including presenting and justifying design decisions, handling feedback constructively, and building trusted working relationships.
  • A portfolio showcasing your work with Elementor, highlighting your skills in developing visually appealing and high-performing websites.
  • Familiarity with SEO tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz.
  • Experience with other CMS platforms like WordPress (outside of Elementor), Wix, or Squarespace.
Responsibilities:
  • Build, develop, and maintain high-quality websites using Elementor, ensuring they are visually appealing, user-friendly, and meet brand guidelines.
  • Leverage Elementors customisation features to create bespoke, visually striking websites without heavy coding.
  • Create original designs and concepts in Figma, then implement aesthetically pleasing websites aligned with brand standards, focusing on both creativity and user experience.
  • Ensure websites built in Elementor are optimised for speed and performance, with special attention to reducing load times and improving SEO metrics.
  • Implement on-page SEO best practices, including metadata, schema, and other SEO techniques, while integrating with Google Search Console.
  • Handle DNS settings to ensure seamless domain management and site accessibility.
  • Configure and manage Google Analytics and other tracking tools to monitor and optimize website performance.
  • Ensure websites maintain functionality and appearance across different browsers, platforms, and devices.
  • Work closely with designers, content creators, and other stakeholders to develop websites that are both technically sound and visually stunning.
  • Act as a day-to-day point of contact for clients on website projects, running kick-off and review calls, presenting design concepts and builds, keeping clients updated on progress, and turning their feedback into clear, actionable revisions.
  • Work directly with clients to scope website requirements, advise on the options and trade-offs available to them, and set realistic expectations on what will be delivered and when.
  • Present finished websites to clients, provide training and documentation so they can confidently manage their own content, and respond to post-launch queries and change requests.
  • Stay updated with Elementors evolving features, as well as the latest trends and best practices in web design and development.
