Storage / Backup Engineer

Salary: £125,000 - 150,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong experience with NetApp storage solutions is essential
• Proven background in enterprise backup technologies and data protection
• Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure environments
• Knowledge of storage performance tuning, replication, and disaster recovery
• Ability to work effectively within secure and highly regulated environments
• Strong troubleshooting and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience within Defence, Government, or other secure sectors is desirable
• Knowledge of VMware, Windows, and Linux infrastructure is desirable
• Exposure to automation and infrastructure tooling is desirable
• Must be eligible to undergo UKSV Security Check (SC) clearance, with sponsorship available for suitable applicants who do not currently hold active clearance

• Ensure maximum availability, performance, and resilience across complex environments
• Work on mission-critical platforms within a fast-paced, security-focused Defence programme
• Contribute to critical national programmes within a leading Defence environment
