Solutions Architect and Payments Expert

Salary: £38,500 - 63,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience and technical expertise in solution architecture and design of complex distributed systems
• Experience with RESTful APIs
• Experience architecting cloud-based systems
• Experience evaluating new technologies
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Experience working in agile teams, preferably with exposure to SAFe
• Knowledge of 3D Secure/Safekey
• Knowledge of Payment Tokenisation
• Past experience as a software developer is a valuable asset
• Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science or a similar subject

Responsibilities:

• Mentor junior Solutions Architects and cross-functional colleagues, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation
• Identify and implement technical solutions and business process improvements by analyzing business needs and leveraging innovative technologies
• Collaborate with business partners and product engineering teams to enforce architecture practices and ensure alignment with architectural and technical strategy through governance and project reviews
• Lead technology platform solutions alignment with platform blueprints and company roadmaps, serving as the Single Point of Contact and coordinating with relevant stakeholders
• Optimize cross-platform integration by implementing advanced integration strategies to enhance platform capabilities, performance, and efficiency
• Ensure the engineered environment meets business, application design, and infrastructure requirements by overseeing platform integration performance
• Execute solution architecture design strategies and lead design and code reviews to ensure delivery of desired business outcomes and adherence to enterprise standards
• Supervise the platforms API strategy and implementation roadmap by collaborating with business and data architects and incorporating their input into cohesive platform solutions
• Collaborate and co-create with teams in product and the business to align technology initiatives with business objectives
