Senior Test Analyst

Salary: £50,000 - 50,000 per year

Responsibilities:

• We analyse requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to create detailed test plans and test cases.
• We execute functional, regression, integration, and system testing across multiple projects.
• We identify, document, and track defects through to resolution.
• We ensure test coverage aligns with project scope, risk, and quality expectations.
• We influence and consult with stakeholders to build strong working relationships and become a trusted advisor.
• We work collaboratively with technical, functional, and business subject matter experts.
• We design and lead meetings and workshops to support project delivery and quality outcomes.
• We plan and deploy automated testing tools and frameworks.
• We use Jira/xRay for test management, reporting, and defect tracking.
• We contribute to automation strategy and best practices across projects.
• We participate in Agile ceremonies and provide input on test readiness, risks, and progress.
• We support continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
• We provide guidance on automation, performance testing, and quality engineering.
• We support junior testers with coaching, guidance, and knowledge sharing.
• We act as a senior point of contact for testing queries within project teams.
• We contribute to test strategy discussions and quality governance.

We are hiring a Senior Test Analyst with SAP experience to join our Quality Engineering practice in Glasgow on a hybrid basis, working on-site three days per week. This is a full-time role with an ASAP start, reporting to our Test Manager or QE Lead. Applicants must have full UK rights to work and three years of UK address history to support relevant background checks.
